A new patient for Dr. Walia, I arrived to her practice based on a stellar recommendation. From arrival to check-in, to a thorough inspection, and her summary, the whole process was spot on. Impressive office organization, with only a very short wait. Support staff were super friendly and helpful - clearly the practice knows that the experience starts there. Dr. Walia was terrific both in terms of the patient experience (which used to be called bedside manner?) and her technical thoroughness. She instills a high degree of confidence. She is meticulous, which is exactly what I was looking for. At the same time, I felt like a patient, not a number being processed. A great fit.
But...the real testimony is that I had my 87 year old father shift his treatment to her. She is that good. He was super happy with both how he was treated, and how he was "treated". She and her staff nailed it. No small feat with this octogenarian. Not often I make a recommendation without any caveats, but Dr. Walia gets it!

Dr. Walia has taken care of my skin for almost 20 years now. I have purposely sought her expertise over the years for both medical and cosmetic procedures. She is an incredibly thorough, professional, and caring dermatologist who has helped keep my skin healthy and more youthful.

So glad my primary care doctor, whom I trust greatly, recommended District Dermatology to me as I had not known about it. In recent weeks I have been to both Dr. Damavandy (for skin cancer checkup) and Dr. Walia (laser treatment) and have had excellent results with both and can see why the practice gets a 5/5 rating. It thoroughly deserves it.

Dr Walia is always up to date in the latest technology for a variety of treatments. I’ve been coming to her for many years now and always happy with her treatment and results. She always goes the extra mile to make certain I am informed and comfortable with the procedures I am having done. I happily recommend her for your cosmetic dermatology.

Very pleasant office and caring staff. Dr. Walia is very well-regarded as a laser surgeon and dermatologist. This practice has all the newest treatments available and carries a large selection of the best skin care products. Schedule a visit and see for yourself!

My experience with Dr Walia and Dr Damavandy was amazing. They are both extremely professional and kind. Dr. Walia was referred to me by a healthcare professional and I am so lucky to have found her! With a history of skin cancer, I was very careful in selecting a dermatologist I could trust completely. I was looking for someone practical that would help balance my desire not to undergo a lot of diagnostic procedures but also ensure potentially serious health issues were not missed. I have entrusted her with my health care for over 10 years. I pay out of pocket for services as she is not in my insurance network but it is absolutely worth it. I can’t put a price on staying healthy and peace of mind.

Dr. Damavandy was extremely nice and very thorough. He was willing to answer any questions I had and sat with me for probably 30 minutes to explain things. Also, I waited no more than 2 minutes in the waiting room. The office is very clean and modern with the staff using iPads for everything. I would highly recommend District Dermatology!
