Dr. Walia is a terrific Dermatologist that truly cares for her patients as well as their health! Dr. Walia's skin treatment approachs were extremely effective for me. She quickly determined the causes of my various different skin conditions, treated the conditions, and resolved the problems. Dr. Walia has treated me for a variety of skin problems over the last nine years and I highly recommend her. She has been very efficient at mapping out treatment plans to resolve skin conditions and I have been very happy with the results.

Dr. Walia is always so thorough and professional. She takes the time to really listen and never makes me feel like we're being rushed. I love her comprehensive approach to treatment-- she leaves no stone unturned and is very committed to her patients. You can tell she is passionate about dermatology and it comes through in the way she treats her patients. Hands down, BEST dermatologist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. My entire family now goes to Dr. Walia!

I highly recommend Dr. Damavandy. His highly, skilled, professional and personable with his medical care. He performed my Mom's surgery on my ear and did so with such skill that one would not recognize that there has been a problem. Their office is a pleasure to wait in, with a friendly staff and beautiful decor!

Dr. Walia has been my dermatologist for over 10 years. I have total confidence in her skills and expertise. Like many older people, I have to be very vigilant about guarding against melanoma. Dr. Walia spends quality time with me and does a very thorough examination. When she sees something she believes needs to be addressed, she takes care of it right then. It is a very pleasant atmosphere in her practice and everyone is friendly, courteous and caring. The medical assistant takes the time to talk with me and review my history before Dr. Walia comes in. I have complete confidence about putting my health into Dr. Walia's capable hands.

I highly recommend Dr. Walia. I have been going to her for many years .. she is very thorough, careful and compassionate. I am of the generation that basked in the SUN without sunscreen and the result of that are many skin changes and spots. She helps me keep track of the changes by mapping moles and evaluating skin changes. She is great.

I was referred to Dr. Damavandy for the removal of a growth on my shoulder. He explained every step of the way what he would be doing and then was doing, which greatly reduced my anxiety. He was also very careful in explaining what I had to do until the stitches were removed days later. And he asked if I understood all that he was saying. He took the time to ensure I had a good outcome. He genuinely cares about his patients.
I was not able to show him how well his surgery turned out until months later. I was somewhat shocked [in a good way] to learn when we did speak that he not only remembered me, but also our conversation while the surgery was taking place. That level of patient concern and warmth is simply amazing. I consider myself most fortunate to have Dr. Damavandy as part of my medical team.

I have been a patient of Dr. Walia for a number of years. She is both technically superb and a caring human being. She is thoughtful, precise and efficient. She asks questions AND listens to the answers. She takes the time that is needed with her patients.
High quality medical care is at the top of my list of life needs. I am so grateful that Dr. Walia is now in a new practice and can continue to help me live a long and healthy life.

Dr. Sunny Walia is a stand out professional who is very caring of her patients and very knowledgeable in the field of dermatology. She has diagnosed and helped me deal with all forms of skin cancer and has used her extensive laser surgery skills to deal with my many years of sun damage. I have been seeing Dr. Walia for 10+ years and recently had an appointment at the new practice she joined: District Dermatology. All of the staff there were welcoming and helpful -- a truly wonderful team. This dermatology practice has set a whole new level of excellence, making it, by far, the best one in the area.

Dr. Walia always makes the time to listen to your concerns/issues. She is careful and meticulous in her work and she takes notes. More importantly, she cares about who you are, and not just "the skin you're in."

Dr. Walia came highly recommended by multiple people and I now know why. She is extremely knowledgeable and wants to ensure patients are educated on the correct information. But she also makes sure they are comfortable. I had been nervous regarding the issue for whichI had booked the appointment. She immediately put me at ease and made me feel comfortable asking questions. I also now know that the dermatologist I had seen previously was not nearly as thorough as Dr. Walia. The office was beautiful and the entire team was pleasant and very helpful!

Dr. Walia is both knowledgeable and caring. This latter attribute is a big deal in my book and one not often found in the medical community! The office staff also is caring, as well as organized and friendly, and the new office is warm and welcoming!
